That is correct sir. It keeps you from doing crime and breaking the law. It keeps families together. It's a form of harm reduction. Now it isn't for everyone as some patients are allergic to it. There is other medication now to try if the methadone does not work for you... Rokki |

Well, I agree to the above said but not completely. Methadone, although, reduces urge for psychrotropic drugs like heroin but comes bundled with its own disadvantages such as insomnia, hypotension, etc. In certain cases, it may even cause death. Hence, consumption of methadone should be highly regularized and supervised. |
