When you say "The right duration for methadone consumption is still debated" I take your saying -The length of time someone should be prescribed methadone is debated.... The length of time a person is on methadone should be up to the patient, this could range from hours, days, months, years or even if a person needs methadone for life , that should not be a problem... There are many people under other prescription medications for these lengths of time.
