| Post subject: | How do You deal with Holiday Blues? |
Well it's almost Christmas and all those old feelings of Holidays past start roaming around you brain. To some this is a huge trigger for going out and getting loaded. Here are some things to do when your brain is trying to over run your body... 1) Take a walk 2) Tell yourself you'll do it later and pretty soon the trigger is gone 3) Take a shower 4) Read a book,not about dope. How about others? I'm sure folks have ways to share of ways to Not get loaded. Happy Holidays and a Very Safe New Year LP |

i just spent 2 hours on the phone with a friend about holiday blues,remember all the bad things and where you are now and how much better they are,go to a movie,I suggest a cartoon cuzz thier funny and I am a big kid at heart even if I am 48.Go to go for a walk to the zoo,most are open and the animals are always intersting and funny.GET OUT OF THE HOUSE and find something anything to make you happy,there are ways to stop the duldrumbs,,go throw rocks at your pieceachit car that dont run no more,something.IF YOUR CAR RUNS SCRATCH THAT ....LMAO Or if all fails,remember this,there is a guy in the ozarks mntns that wishes you a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and I hope I didnt just talk you into breakin all the windows in your car ......lmao gene |

Your friend is very lucky to have a friend like yourself to talk too. Some folks are very lonely this time of year and think they are bothering someone if they call for some support. When someone calls me I know they did some thinking 1st before they made the call so I feel I have that persons life in my hands and I better give them some of my time...The life I save could be my own in the long run...
