Does anyone with knowledge of Methadone know anything about its side-effects, in particular: constipation.

Is it normal to not be able to poop?

This is a subject that comes up all the time. One key is Lots and lots of water. You wouldn't believe what water can do for you and your system...Good stuff all around. Fiber,good fiber...stay away from the flour,like most cereals have this..I just found this out cuz I'm a big Quaker oat squares nut from way back cuz it keeps things moving for me,but it is also adding lots of gas to IBS and Diverticulitis which if anyone else suffers from this,you know this is no fun.. Green Veggies,yeah I hate them too,BUT in order to be nice to your system so it will be good to you ya gotta compromise a bit. Hold your nose or something hahahha...Actually Spinach is really good in Mashed potatoes or even scrambled eggs...

Give it a try...Really drink that water...It helps so many issues..

Are you a mind reader? I was just watching something about Cali's water and have a friend with Diverticulitis Rokki, as long as the water isn't California water LOL ... I say this because I just saw on Conan late night show that Cali has the worst water in the nation. He said something like "just chew the water before drinking"

Actually the friend with Diverticulitis had his colon burst and had a microscope stuck up his butt last week. Besides the rip in the colon They found some growths that needed to be cut off and tested for cancer. He'll find out what needs to be done this Friday Sept 25th.

Man the water is so bad here. I don't even give my cats tap water it's so bad,they drink Brita water just like I do. I don't watch whats his name..I'm a Roseanne fan and then Adult swim after 10 pm..
I was the lucky recipient of the scope last wed. Dr did me right with Versed and fentinal,but I talked to him thru the whole thing..hahaha..They cut out one polyp and took some tissue for a biopsy and I'm to find out the results this week sometime. I've been in so much pain ..they have done a ultra sound and gall bladder looked ok so it's not stones,Dr found Mild Diverticulitis and to me it's thats like being a little pg...either ya got it or ya don't hahahha so now I have an appointment with a Gastronoligist ..sp.. as I have fatty liver,which is a form of hepatitis,Dr and I went around on that subject..he says it isn't a form of it and I say the research I've read from Mayo Clinic says yes it is.... anyhow..he is still a good guy and takes very good care of me...we can agree to disagree,hard to find Dr's that will be that way too..

Chew the water 1st.....thats funny... thats about it too...it smells like a swimming pool with too much clorine...it;s AWFUL...
