People taking methadone for addiction have a disease for which they are taking a legal drug for treatment. This is no different than a diabetic taking insulin, a person with high blood pressurd taking norvasc I coild go on and on. So I take offense to this comment.
, methadone is very effective in aiding folks with heroin addiction which reduces crime rates and the transfer of disease such as hepatitis which in turn increases productivity of peoples lives in general. Methadone works, methadone saves families and it saves lives.
