Methadone helps control chronic pain as well as Stops or drastically decreases the urge for other opioids :ugeek:

and assists folks in keeping control of their lives and saving families

That is correct sir. It keeps you from doing crime and breaking the law. It keeps families together. It's a form of harm reduction. Now it isn't for everyone as some patients are allergic to it. There is other medication now to try if the methadone does not work for you...

Well, I agree to the above said but not completely. Methadone, although, reduces urge for psychrotropic drugs like heroin but comes bundled with its own disadvantages such as insomnia, hypotension, etc. In certain cases, it may even cause death. Hence, consumption of methadone should be highly regularized and supervised.

Are you or someone you know on methadone? If so then you know that the advantages of methadone far outway the disadvantages
