[color=#40FFBF]Hello Everyone!! How was your Thanksgiving? Hope all was great for everyone Mine was very relaxed and simple, just the way i like it. I got up very early and my daughter and i got the Turkey all ready and plopped it in the oven and then we continued to cook all day! It was very nice actually, my daughtyer peeled ALL of the potatoes for the mashed taters! Keep in mind that she is 7 and well lets just say it kept her very busy all day until we had to cook em It was so funny she peeled 24 big potatoes and she was so into it, it was awesome to see her be so proud of herself that she was doing for the big Thanksgiving dinner. It was sweet. And i kept thinking that she will probably remember this one when shes older and cooking dinner with her daughter! So cool, i hope i am there for that moment! So did anyone get up super early and go shopping for Black Friday? There was some good deals out there,wish i had the money to go. I'll be lucky if i have anything to even put under my tree this year, it so depresses me to even think about it. I really honestly do not know what i am going to do this X-Mas. I mean i have nothing to go shopping with for my kiddos...Anyways enough of the poor me,sorry if that depressed anyone i just had to rant about it and get it off my chest! So ok i will stop there.Hope you all have a great weekend...

We decided to try it and Left the house at 3:30am and got a couple deals but not what it's all hyped up to be to me. Getting up so early, I didn't even go to sleep since I would have felt worst after only a couple hrs hours of sleep. Then you have the huge crowds to deal with - unbelievable how many people were standing in line at JcPenney at 4am and by the time we finally got to walmart the only good deals we went there for were sold out.

I've got a friend that just today ~Black Friday~ was given the choice to either quit his job or get fired so he quit. He has 2 children , 1 girl that's 10 and a baby like 17 months. He was already way behind on all his bills, No family that can help out that much, No savings and struggling to make ends meet so his family is reallly facing some difficult times.

Your certainly not alone, things are baad all over. I'm sure it will all work out some how, it usually does.

I think folks should remember the real meaning of this holiday and what they do have as opposed to what they don't. If you have Family thats the bomb. Whether they love or judge you,you have them. You have a roof over your head,for the most part warm and with your own bathroom facilities. I was homeless for more then one Christmas and let me tell me ya it was no fun at all. My husband,Mark,was still alive<til aug 91> so sometimes we would end up at his Mom's to be able to take a shower,wash our same clothes,eat something besides soup and salad they give ya at the soup kitchen and a warm place to sleep for a couple nites. Then Mark was gone and his Mom was gone a few years after that. Thank goodness by then I had my housing<took7 years of waiting> came up and I was able to move into a one bedroom place for about 5 years and I've been here about 6 years. It's hard finding a place especially when you have 2 grown female cats,both inside babies...At any rate. Lately I have lost family,but I have also had lost family find Us,which is really awesome in its own right...

So be Thankful for what ya got cuz there is someone on the corner with a basket who would love to switch places with you......

I hope I have cheered ya up and not made folks sad...
